Recording, Day One.

Recording, Day One, version 3 – to be exact. We’ve done this so many times, you can go ahead and call us pros.

But this time, things are different.

We’ve recruited Dennis Diaz, the genius behind King Kapre’s “Sirkel” EP. Nothing but great things to come; you can take that to the bank.

So..

Czara and Dennis arrive first, after a huge breakfast of bacon, hotdogs, eggs, rice, and Organic Whole Foods ketchup (yeah we’re plugging it – go grab a bottle!) Next? Janina, Starbucks goodies in tow, and forgetting her bass in the car. And finally, Carlo, surprising us with donuts, Spicy Chex Mix and two Peanut Butter Twix bars (step off us; rockstars are supposed to have horrible eating habits!)

After happifying our bellies, it was time to get to work. Our mission? Finish all 12 drum tracks that day. Impossible? We thought so. But man, we were in for a big surprise.

Twelve drums tracks in the bag PLUS bass and guitar scratch tracks to set up for Recording, Day Two. And how long did it take us to git r done? EIGHT HOURS. Even Dennis was impressed!

The secret? Honey Walnut Shrimp. No joke.

Next up – rhythm guitar tracks. Stay tuned!

The latest.

Yup, we’re in the middle of another redesign. What have we been up to? Many things and nothing.

Ramping up for recording *again* and this time, we are on a tight schedule. Dennis Diaz (if you have no idea who he is, get out of that rock you’ve been hiding under for the past decade) will record and mix our tracks, as well as shoot and produce our first music video. Excited?! We definitely are.
